Great 3D renderings require great 3D modeling. To make these 3D models, you need the precise software for what the designer is attempting to achieve. Other software, which may not be ideal for sculpting, but are beneficial for architectural renders, are programs such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit, Vectorworks and ArchiCAD. They’re among the most popular, as they come with 3D assets, such as cars, planes, people, pets, furnishings and decorations, as well as trees and vegetation for landscaping.
Once these 3D modeling programs are mastered, they can then be paired with rendering programs to bring scenes to life. To master these modeling programs, there’s a serious time investment to become proficient in the intricacies of each program.

Animation

There are dozens of programs available which are better suited for animation than others. They each have strengths and drawbacks, but some of the Industry leading programs used today are Maya, Cinema 4D, Blender, Houdini, and 3Ds Max.
